A drama workshop for youth exploring character, scenes, improv, and games. Parents and caregivers are invited to join us for the last 15 minutes for sharing. Please bring indoor shoes, a water bottle, and a nut-free snack.







Amy Neufeld
Instructor: Amy Neufeld (Discover Your Drama Junior/Senior)
Amy has over 20 years of experience teaching theatre, primarily to young people, and is a conservatory-trained actor and performer. She is the co-founder of Lightning Banjo Productions, and has worked as a director, playwright, producer, and actor. She has taught for Act Out KW, the Foote Theatre School (in Edmonton), Freewill Players (in Edmonton), and others. Amy loves to explore all things theatre and acting through games and play. Her dream role is Captain Hook in Peter Pan.
Ben Gorodetsky
Instructor: Ben Gorodetsky (Making It Up: Improv for Youth)
Ben Gorodetsky is a performer, director and teacher who has been improvising for 20 years! He has performed improv in NYC, LA, Austin, Atlanta, Vienna, Ljubljana, Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. He has been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in Improv, and currently teaches at the University of Waterloo. Ben is the producer of the Pinch events, offering cabaret, comedy, and improv shows all over KW.
